Kristopher P. Badame, Founder & Principal

Mr. Badame is the Founder and Principal of Badame Law Group. He is well-known for his meticulous demeanor and focus, both in and outside the courtroom.

A former Partner at Jackson Lewis, P.C., Mr. Badame has over 20 years of litigation experience and focuses his career on Employment Litigation, Consumer Protection, Business Litigation, and General Business Counseling. His expansive legal resume includes the successful handling of hundreds of cases involving complex class-action litigation of consumer protection, employment wage and hour claims, discrimination issues, and wrongful termination, both at the State and Federal levels. This skilled Irvine employment lawyer is the Head of the Trial team at Badame Law Group and oversees all Practice Groups within the Firm.

Prior to being admitted to the California State Bar in 2000, Mr. Badame worked for the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Kristopher received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996 from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo. In 2000, he received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Chapman University School of Law, where he served as Vice-President and member of the Chapman University School of Law National Trial Team, where he successfully competed in numerous National Trial competitions. While in law school, Kristopher received numerous Awards for Academic Excellence in Evidence, Trial Practice, and Trial Advocacy. In addition, Mr. Badame was the recipient of the Chapman University School of Law 2000 Dean's Award, which is presented annually to a graduating senior for their leadership and service to the law school, as voted on by the faculty and administration. Mr. Badame also was selected as the Class of 2000 American Board of Trial Advocates Fellowship representative from the Chapman University School of Law.

Mr. Badame is a member of the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Kristopher is admitted to practice law in all California State Courts, the United States Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.

When not in the office, Kristopher enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. In addition, Kristopher is a Level 4-Certified Hockey Coach by USA Hockey and is very active in coaching youth Ice Hockey in the Southern California area.
